dc.description.abstract | The art of cranial vault remodelling surgery is amazing and fascinating, but remains much of that, an art, to this day. In this thesis, we provide two mathematical approaches to tackle cranial vault remodelling surgery, in the hopes of bringing some insights from the perspective of combinatorial optimization. First, an integer programming formulation which we analyze experimentally, and second, a more theoretical approach using the local ratio. | en |
