Marianne Burlew’s installation Twinning affords space for contemplating our body’s unique sensory knowledge and its role in mediating perception. The exhibition consists of four stations that present sculpture in the form of furniture and textile objects alongside video works that explore concepts of becoming through performance. Each work contains moments of co-creation, or becoming in relation between the subjects within the works as well between the works and the audience. Visitors are encouraged to interact with objects and spend time moving from each station to the next in an active role of thinking and feeling.en
