    Electromagnetic Energy Harvesting using Hall Effect

    Electromagnetic energy harvesting involves capturing energy from electromagnetic waves using a rectenna system. A rectenna system consists of an antenna, a rectifying circuit with matching networks and diodes, and a load. However, conventional rectennas face several challenges, including the barrier potential required to activate the diodes, frequency limitations due to diode switching speed, and the complexity of designing an efficient matching network. These constraints limit the efficiency and applicability of rectenna-based energy harvesting systems. To address these challenges, this research explores a novel technique for electromagnetic energy harvesting utilizing the Hall Effect. This approach aims to eliminate diode-related limitations to improve energy conversion by leveraging the perpendicular nature of electric and magnetic fields. The study investigates the feasibility of a diode-free rectification concept to harvest energy directly without relying on traditional rectification methods. The proposed technique offers a potential breakthrough in energy harvesting technology, paving the way for more efficient and scalable wireless energy harvesting systems
